Housed in a 100-year-old former auto body shop, the Chop Shop is Chicago’s only sustainable butcher + deli + restaurant + bar with a 6,000 square foot event space and concert venue.

THE DELI MARKET

Our homestyle kitchen features house-roasted meats, fresh cheeses, sandwiches, panini, antipasto, salads, and grab-and-go items like pizzas, pasta, beer and wine — all at our deli market. Our fresh products – including deli meat by the pound, wine and beer – are available for delivery!

THE BUTCHER

Our knowledgeable butcher team offers cuts from local farms, as well as monthly Whole Hog Butcher Classes and off-site smoking events. Delivery available.

THE RESTAURANT + BAR

The restaurant’s seasonally-rotating menu sources local farms and our very own butcher. Peruse our in-house charcuterie program, raw bar, homemade pastas, prime steak cuts, and our award-winning Butcher’s Burger.

Lunch and dinner served daily | Weekend brunch served Saturday–Sunday 11am–3pm

THE CONCERT VENUE

Chop Shop features an amazing concert venue with state of the art sound, lights and production staff including an in-house booking and marketing department with years of experience. Designed by event professionals, the venue is a 5,000 square foot, fully customizable event space that can be tailored to meet any client’s individual needs.

Housed inside the Chop Shop, the space features 20′ ceilings, exposed brick, and built-in amenities including a state-of-the-art audio/visual package, modular staging elements, a modern guest suite and a professional on-site production team.

In addition to Chop Shop food & beverage, the events team works with a variety of Chicago’s top caterers.

From first inspection, clients are treated to five-star customer service, including on-site
consultations with some of the industry’s most well versed professionals. Our team utilizes their extensive rolodex and long-held relationships with top-tier providers to produce events that deliver the highest quality execution, ensuring that each event is as unique and unforgettable as the property itself.
